'D' LITTER - Puppies born 26th February 2009

Well it is a bit of a surprise to be writing about this particular litter! Ninja arrived here from Sweden at the end of January and she will be staying with us for good after her puppies. The babies will be ready to leave us at the end of April or early May.

We had to make a quick decision on the sire for Ninja but it wasn't too difficult! We had hoped to take Izzie to Fritz to be mated this year and as that wasn't to be, we chose him for Ninja instead. He is such a beautiful dog with a wonderful, gentle temperament. He has sired some super offspring for many kennels and of course he is the sire of Seamus too! Fritz is now eight years old but still looks superb. On a recent trip to Sweden we saw him finish Best Dog and overall Best Veteran in Show.

He has excellent health results too - DNA clear from Fucosidosis and PRA Cord 1, annually eye-tested clear and with A graded hips. Ninja also has good hips, a current clear eye certificate and is also clear from Fuco and PRA Cord 1.
