Wednesday 31st December
Well Christmas certainly whizzed by in a flash :o( We did not have a 'white' Christmas here but the weather has certainly become extremely cold so perhaps snow is not too far off. Many more of the P Litter have now left for pastures new. Paddy has gone all the way to Somerset and is called Digby now. Paris to Leicestershire with the impressive new name of 'Welford' :o). Pedro to Gloucestershire and is called Mario. Beautiful Pearl has gone to Norfolk and is now Pippa and finally Piper left for Essex and is called Poppie. Lovely names, lovely families. We wish you all the very best for the future. Prudence and Peony (now Promise) will be leaving over the next few days.
Holly is now very much better and we thank everyone for their messages asking after her. She is now desperate to get back to her wild ways but we are having to insist that she takes it easy for a bit longer!
So some new pics below of the puppies in their new homes :o) along with some super snow pics of Kitkat and Tuppence in Denmark plus a lovely family photo of Lewis and Kastor in Belgium.
So very soon it will be the start of a New Year. 2014 has been a year of ups and downs for us although that is just life of course. 2015 will bring more showing of course and also more outings for Serafina. We feel that we have had a great first year - early days still but all very promising :o) Dave will be judging Springers in a few weeks time at the first Champ Show of the year in Manchester. The snappy new suit is ready and waiting ;) My first Champ Show appointment is fast approaching too at the Lancs and Cheshire Club Champ Show and we both have the honour of judging at the Swedish ESSC Club Show in July. So much to look forward to on the judging front. Just remains to wish all of our friends, visitors and Peasblossoms everywhere a very happy, healthy and successful New Year :o) xxx

Friday 19th December
Of course no show news for us as we sadly missed LKA - just too much to do at home with the puppies and Christmas preparations. However, news from France that Marley,
(Ch P Magicien D'Oz) won the CACIB and BOB at Nantes. Congratulations - a good end to the year.
So now the puppies have started to leave us for their new families. Pixie and Paloma have both left for Sussex and are now Martha and Pixie (confused??) The remaining puppies will gradually be leaving over the next few weeks and of course we wish them all the very best for the future. They have been a lovely bunch :o)
Sadly our beautiful Holly has been seriously ill this week with a closed pyometra resulting in emergency surgery. She is home now and slowly recovering but unfortunately she had been in whelp and all the puppies were lost as a result of the surgery. So very sad. Life with dogs can be heartbreaking sometimes :o(. Holly, of course, is home with us and we have no doubt that she will return to her wild ways soon enough but a lesson (yet again!) that you should not try to plan too much as life has a way of stopping you in your tracks.....
With such gloomy news this week we feel it is just as well that we have a break from showing. As usual, the weather is dismal, a lot of wet, wind and mud so keeping the dogs clean is a chore to say the very least. We have been enjoying some great walks in the woods though and on the beach where recently Kye found and brought us a very large, dead fish! How we wished we had a camera with us - he was incredibly proud of himself and it gave us a good laugh :o) Along with the sad times there are always happy moments to cherish.
So 2014 is nearly at a close and we are proud of the year we have had. We have again made up three Champions over the last twelve months. Holly (Barecho Qualified To Show with P) gained her crowning CC and RBIS at the ESSC Champ Show under judge, John Robson in April adding to her collection of of two CC's and six reserves. It was such a great feeling when she finally did it!
Kye, Sh Ch P Chance attended only one show this year, at Southern Counties where he won the CC, BOB and was short-listed in the Group. Perhaps he might put in one or two more appearances next year :o)
Rafferty had a great year too, winning his second and third CC's both with Best of Breed at the Northern ESSC and Blackpool Champ Shows along with another three RCC's. He is young still so hopefully there will be more to come from our Raff in the future.
Millie, (P Moonstruck) - our black and white girl - the new baby at the start of the year - finished the year as a Show Champion!! She had a Best Puppy In Show at the Lancs & Cheshire Champ Show early in April before moving up into the Junior classes where she had the most fantastic run of wins. She is the loveliest girl and we are so proud that she finished the year with three CC's and two RCC's. A wonderful start to her career without a doubt.
Sweet Bessie, Barecho Odd Molly arrived here in March and at her very first show won her class, Best Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy In Show. We could not have wished for more from such a baby. She has had a good and consistent year also winning another BPIB at Leeds in July. We will see more of Bessie next year :o) Kate, Ch Art-waves Awesome has now been in the UK for just over a year and we are delighted that she will be staying with us for good. She had a very nice year too with hopefully much more to come. We are looking forward with much excitement to her first litter here in the spring.
So all in all a super one :o) Congratulations too, to all the Peasblossoms that have also had success in the rings here and in Europe - so many to mention, but Annie (P Luna at Zawspring), Kitkat (P Eternity), Alfie (P Nemesis at Jonabar), Tasha, (P Nettle), Hope (P Heaven Sent) and Marley (P Magicien D'Oz). Apologies if I have missed any of you but sending good luck vibes for the forthcoming year.
We must also mention the fact that we have received more than half a million visits to the Peasblossom website. Quite unbelievable, thank you! And finally, we would like to wish all our friends and fellow exhibitors a very happy Christmas and send our warmest regards for a successful 2015.
Friday 12th December
Argh ... where does the time go? Well, with ten seven week old puppies, time goes past quite quickly with little time for updates. However all is well with the hoard and new photos have been added that we have taken over the last couple of weeks plus a short video clip. Soon the pups will be leaving for their new homes and they certainly have some wonderful families and homes lined up.
It looks as thought we will be missing the last show of the year at LKA - sometimes you can't do all that you plan but no doubt we will be back next year. More soon ....
