Jan - Feb 2012

Tuesday 31st January

Today the puppies are six weeks old - time does fly by so fast. The Current Litters page has been updated with some new photos and videos taken over the last few days. At the weekend, Luca went to his very first show, UK Paper, where he was Best Puppy and PG3. We were very pleased and proud of how he took the experience in his stride and look foward to his next outing!

Thursday 19th January

Apologies for lack of puppy photos especially when we had promised some new ones but so little time! Still this weekend, the puppies will be moved out into the kitchen so hopefully some new pictures and/or video clips to follow in the very near future.

We were supposed to be going to Manchester Championship show this weekend with Seamus and Lila but have made the decision to stay at home. Lila is in mid-season, and Seamus has chosen this week to pull out a nail and is now slightly lame. Sigh .... not the best start to the new showing year that's for sure!

But some positive 'health' news that Honor (P Honeytrap) has been tested for PRA Cord 1 and found to be CLEAR. :o)

Still the showing flag has been kept flying by Kitkat and Hope who were both in action this past weekend. Kitkat (P Eternity) attended a show in Gjern, Denmark under judge, Fiona Buchanan. She finished BOS with a very nice critique. Good start for the year! New photos of Kitkat have been added to her dedicated gallery, taken last year of her obedience lessons. Hope (P Heaven Sent at Lordsett) also finished BOS and won the CAC at her show in Gdyniak. Some new photos have also been added today of Hope - go to her dedicated page via Dogs Bred By Us in the drop down menu.

Thursday 12th January

Latest and most exciting news involves the arrival of Luca and Willow! Thank you to Helene, David, Kasia and Marcin for making it all possible. They have settled in really well and are both lovely! New pages have been set up for them both. Luca is almost nine months and Willow just four months so it will certainly be an interesting year ahead. Training to start in ernest very soon :o)

Yesterday we found out that Seamus has been announced as Overall Winner of the Jean Taylor Award for Top Springer 2011. Not sure how this is all decided but a very nice award to win for the 'special one'!

Holly pups are doing great and weaning is well underway now. They are loving the minced steak but cannot muster up the same enthusiasm about the Royal Canin as yet. Early days... more photos to follow over the weekend, we promise!

Saturday 7th January

So the New Year is underway with the first show of the year been and gone already. Sadly we couldn't make this one but it certainly hasn't seemed much of a break between shows!

New photos etc have been added of the Holly babies all of which are doing very well. Go to the usual Current Litters page to view.

More news soon .....
