January - February 2016

Thursday 11th February

Great news that Millie has now been confirmed in whelp to Sammy so we are on the countdown to the arrival of her litter in March. Thanks to Christina and Michael for your help and hospitality and we very much look forward to seeing you soon in the UK :o)

Other, not very exciting news involves successful eye tests for Rafferty and Kate so all good :o) We have been busy with Serafina lately and taking our show stand to some Open Shows with many more plans for the future for that. Now we are looking forward to the Southern ESS Society Championship Show at the end of the month and seeing judge Helene Bjorkman, who we hear has a fantastic entry :o)

Wednesday 27th January

Well Manchester didn't happen for us this year! Other things got in the way namely Millie (and Dave!) went to Sweden to meet up with Sammy. A long but hopefully successful trip for them. Thank you Christina and Michael for your hospitality and fingers crossed we will see you soon in the UK. Millie is booked in for a scan early in February so we will see then :o) but feeling excited!

Almost all of Halle's puppies have left us now. They were such lovely babies but all have fantastic homes and we couldn't be happier. The boys are now Rasmus, Rufus and Luca :) and the girls are Rita, Lola, Lexi, Florence, Sadie. I think Ruby might still be Ruby :o) What a journey she had all the way to the United States in awful weather but she is safe now and well :o) Rupert and Rosie are with us still awaiting necessary vaccinations before leaving for foreign climes.

No show news of course. The weather is the pits - hate, hate hate winter!! On the Welcome page is a super photo of Kitkat and Tuppence taken by owner Susanne in Denmark. Pepe's page has been updated with health info and some pics etc.....

Saturday 16th January

No show news of course, but off to Manchester in the morning. Doesn't seem like much of a break from shows does it? In the meantime Dave has taken Millie out to Sweden to Sammy so we await confirmation that she is in whelp in due course. Exciting times ahead.

Halle's puppies have flourished and start now, leaving for their new homes. We have one puppy girl still available so please contact us if you might be interested in her :o)

Friday 1st January

So here we are, another year already. We would like to wish all our friends and visitors to our site a very happy and successful 2016! 2015 was a great year for us showing-wise expecially as Rafferty finished the year as Top Springer! The early part of the year was especially good with BEST IN SHOWs at both the SESSS and ESSC of Wales Champ Shows not to mention the CC at Crufts under Frank Kane. A huge honour from a huge entry of Springers :o) Kye has been out and about too this year taking part in some Veteran Classes and he has done us proud, winning another RCC and a BEST VETERAN IN SHOW at GSOW! Millie too won another CC and RBIS at the ESSC Champ Show along with another couple of reserves. We now await her first litter with a lot of excitement. The young ones, Pepe and Tansy got out a fair bit too. Tansy has really had a good start particularly in her Junior classes but picked up a Best Puppy and PG3 at Southern Counties. Pepe has done well too, although with very little competition. Hoping for more in future once he is up with the big boys.

A final word of thanks to all the other Peasblossoms that fly our little flag each year. In particular to Alfie, Peasblossom Nemesis at Jorobaden, Orla, P Oriana at Berkenbar, Tasha, P Nettle, Hope, P Heaven Sent, Annie, P Luna at Zawsprinig, Kitkat, P Eternity, Tuppence and Marley, P Magicien D'oz. Well done and thank you to you all.

So finally, I have added some new photos of our current crop of puppies, taken at 5,5 weeks. Please go to the Current Litters page to view.
