June 2016

Tuesday 22nd June

Very sad news that we lost Izzie at the end of last week. She was eleven and we lost her after a very short illness. She was a beautiful girl, who gave us her lovely daughter Lila, Sh Ch Peasblossom Aria. She was the very first girl here at Peasblossom and will always have a special place in our hearts.

No show news for us that I can think of ... but the Halle x Rafferty puppies have both been out at their first shows with their new owners. Lexi (P Roma at Kingsheath) went to Southern Counties and picked up a second in Minor Puppy Bitch and Lola (P Rumour at Strathnaver) was Minor Puppy Bitch at the Northern ESSC. Great start for them both. Can't wait to see how they develop.

Puppy news! Not our puppies but news of some babies due to a bitch that we bred. Please go to the Current Litters page, especially if you are looking for a black and white puppy!

Thursday 9th June

Well this must be the longest without an update in the history of this site !! :o( There cannot have been that much to say of course ... not many shows attended at all, in fact here we are nearly half way through the year and we have been to our fourth show only today. That was Three Counties where Rafferty finished Best Dog and Pepe won Post Graduate Dog. I cannot even remember what other shows we went to, suffice to say that they couldn't have been much to write home about :o) But there have been some moments to treasure, 'Alfie', (P Nemesis at Jonabar) has been doing well and recently went RBIS at Westmoreland. 'Tasha' (P Nettle) has become a French Champion. Very well done. Mostly we have been working on our show stand and preparing for the summer shows and spending time at home planning some improvements to kitchen and bathroom. Well overdue it must be said but finally not too long to wait :o)

We have been saying goodbye to our Millie and Sammy pups who have left for super lovely homes far and wide. At this moment we still have three here at home, two boys and one girl, Sasha, who will be going to Sweden for a life with Christina, Michael and Dad, Sammy in due course.

We have plans for more puppies and hope to welcome a litter from Willow in a couple of months time. Proud father will again be Rafferty, so this is a repeat mating of Pepe. More info will be posted shortly.
