March 2016

Monday 28th March

Finally there is time to update the website :o)  The puppies are doing great, growing fast, are now up and about and have their eyes open.  Some new photos have been added to the Current Litters page.

We have also ventured out to our first show of the year, all the way to Scotland for the ESS Club of Scotland Champ Show for the opinion of judge, Christine Savell.  Rafferty was placed second in Open Dog and eventually awarded the RCC :)  Soooo proud of our happy, beautiful boy <3.   Tansy also took the trip with Dave and won Graduate Bitch.  It was a good day too for other Peasblossoms, with P Nemesis at Jonabar winning Post Grad Dog and P Orianna winning Special Yearling Bitch.

Yesterday Annie, P Luna at Zawspring went Best of Breed and G4 at Great Yarmouth.  Well done from us both xx

Monday 14th March

Crufts has been and gone for another year.  This year I visted without dogs and I had an enjoyable day spectating, meeting up with friends and talking a lot!  Congrats to all the winners on the day :o)

This past weekend, both Rupert and Rosie have left us.  Rupert is now living in Poland and Rosie has gone to Milan in Italy.  We wish them both lots of love and luck for the future with their wonderful new familes. xxx

Two days before Millie's puppies arrived into the world.  Nine babies, four girls and five boys.  Mum and babies are doing really well and Millie, has settled to motherhood like a duck to water.  We could not have wished for more.  Some photos have been added to the Current Litters page.

Now we must start to prepare for what is our first show of the season .... hmmmm... there is much work to be done!!!

Tuesday 8th March

Well we sit waiting for Millie's puppies to be born, so hopefully more news on that very soon :o)  Always exciting but also stressful of course.  The Current Litter page has been updated with a little more information too.

No show news for the springers but Tulip, our lovely Cocker girl has been to Home Counties Cocker Champ Show where she was placed third in Puppy Bitch out of a huge class of 18 puppy bitches!  Judge was Liz Cartledge and we were absolutely delighted.  A page for Tulip must follow soon!

The SESSS Champ Show came and went with a flying visit from judge, Helene Bjorkman.  Of course we didn't show our dogs, but still it was a lovely day as we collected Jean Taylor Awards for both Pepe, as Reserve Best Puppy Dog for 2015 and for Rafferty as overall winner of Top Springer 2015!  Not to be outdone, Kye also won the Carolyn Muirhead award for Best Veteran 2015 :)
