March - April 2010

Sunday 25th April

Still no show news and there won't be any for another month or so... whatever will we do with ourselves??? A couple of bits of good news, however, that Robin (Peasblossom Escape to Beresford) has been tested for PRA, MRD and Gonioscopy and has 'perfect eyes' and his father, Zeneck has been awarded his Swedish Champion title. Congratulations to Kasia, Marcin and Annelie from all of us!!

Monday 19th April

No news at all except that the sun is shining and everything is alright with the world! Photograph of Lila on the Welcome page doing what she does best! Spent a lovely evening over the weekend with Wendy, Steve and two super Dexbenella babies by Seamus, Mac and Olivia. We wish them lots and lots of luck for the future and they can come and live here anytime... ! :)

Tuesday 13th April

Went to the ESSC Championship Show on Sunday. Not the most spectacular of days for us it has to be said, however Robin (Peasblossom Escape to Beresford) did us proud finishing Best Puppy Dog overall. New photo of him added to the front page. Also photos of Elin and Rattan added to their respective pages.

A few new pics have also been added to the gallery in the main menu of Peasblossom pups in their new homes along with some video clips taken recently of the dogs. Go to Photo Gallery in the main menu to view. Two new photos of Seamus pups at Kennel Desperados in Norway also added to Seamus' offspring page.

Wednesday 7th April

Elin's litter brother, 'Robin' (Peasblossom Escape to Beresford) made his debut at the weekend, attending the Lancs & Cheshire Championship show on Sunday, finishing second in Minor Puppy Dog under judge, Don Miller. On Monday it was a trip to Eastwood and District to an Open Show where he was Best Puppy under judge, Angela Ternent. A lovely start for Robin although let's not forget Rattan (P Butterfly at Beresford) who finished BOB and Gundog Group 3. Well done Rats!

Gino has now left us for pastures new with a new name, Codey and tomorrow, Grynet will be leaving for a life in Berkshire as Coco!

Saturday 3rd April

Today Elin is six months old. Time certainly flies by! Dave took her to her very first show, Wickford & Basildon, under judge Vicky Warrener (Waterswarren). We were thrilled that she took the day completely in her stride, finishing Best Puppy, Reserve Best Of Breed and also Puppy Group 4. A really lovely start for our new baby. Kye ... well that is another story! With two girls in mid-season at home, his head was 'away with the fairies' and about as far away from Wickford & Basildon as you could get!

Tuesday 30th March

An incredibly long journey up to Scotland at the weekend for the ESSC of Scotland Championship Show for the opinion of judge, Diane Scott. It was most defintely worth it, however, as Seamus was awarded the DCC and RBIS!! Kye was second in his Graduate class. BCC and BIS was Sh Ch Melverly Sublimity and BP on the day was Trimere Twist Of Fate. It was an opportunity to take some photos of some of Seamus' children at the show, so they have been added to Seamus' offspring page.

Some of the Ninja and Seamus pups left this weekend. George has gone off to a new life in Gloucestershire and is now called 'Jerry' (how confusing is that?), Gerry will be living with his new family in Surrey and will be called 'Diesel' and finally, Grant has gone to Hampshire and is to be called 'Toby'. We wish them all well. Some photos have been added to the Photo Gallery in the main menu.

Monday 22nd March

New photos added today of all the pups at seven weeks. One has left us already - Gracie, now called Lulu. We wish her lots of happiness in her exciting new life. Go to Current Litters page to view all the photos.

Yesterday, Kye was Best In Show at the SWESSS Open Show. He has had a lovely start to the year - fingers crossed that it continues. He was our only representative at the show yesterday but we are off to Scotland this coming weekend with two dogs, so we'll see what happens there.

More good news from Scotland that Toash (Gaolachcara Oghma), Seamus' son has gained sufficient points for his Show Certificate of Merit award, finishing BOB & Group 3 at Clydebank & District Canine Club under judge Mr Roy Maynard (Chinnordale). Well done Toash!!

Finally, two new photos have been added to the Photo Gallery (in main menu) of two youngsters from the 'E' litter, Monty and Murphy.

Tuesday 16th March

New photos and a couple of video clips added today of the puppies, go to Current Litters to see them. They are doing well. Hopefully tomorrow, we will get some proper shots of them and add them to the site.

Seamus celebrated his 4th Birthday yesterday with a sausage ceremony of course. Hard to believe he is four already! Many happy 'belated' returns to both Hope and Zola!!

Monday 15th March

Yesterday was Crufts! Well done to Rattan (P Butterfly at Beresford) who flew a little flag for the Peasblossoms by finishing second in Post Graduate Bitch. Well done Rats!! Many congratulations to all the main winners and commiserations to those who didn't have quite the same kind of day. Were we sorry to have stayed at home? Not on your life :)!!!!

Wednesday 10th March

New photos added today of the pups at nearly six weeks of age. We couldn't get one of Gino as he didn't feel like co-operating this time so a sitting shot will have to suffice.

This weekend, both Eva and Fifi left for new homes. Fifi is now called Phoebe. We will miss them both very much but wish them all the happiness in the world with their new families.....

We are giving Crufts a miss this year, but would like to wish all our friends a successful and enjoyable day!

Friday 5th March

Not much news at present. Ninja's puppies are doing really well and are delightful souls. They are very much more active now and keeping us all on our toes. Lila keeps sneaking in and doesn't even seem to mind when they try to suckle from her......! New photos have been added today - go to the Current Litters page and look for the link or alternatively, click here to view.
