Apologies for long delay in updates not to mention that the whole website died for a week or so. Still hoping for a replacement site which should be ready at some point which will please me immensely! I have developed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands which makes it impossible for me to type so of course that is the main issue. Getting Dave to update will probably be harder than getting him to finish decorating the bathroom! Sigh ..... still we will plod on as best we can.
Not a huge amount of show news to share. Crufts, of course, came and went and it wasn't a bad one at all. John Palmer (Roandew) was the judge. Rafferty finished third in Open Dog, Inka, VHC in Yearling Bitch, a naked Tansy with dead tail was second in Post Grad Bitch and Millie, fourth in Open. Mostly it was a time to meet up with friends from afar which is always the best thing anyway.
Pepe left for New Zealand the following week and straight into quarantine for ten days. It was not the best time for us ... these 'ideas' are very easy to come up with, not so easy to put in practice. However, Pepe is now home with his forever family and has settled beautifully. He has been already to a fair few shows, is already a NZ Champion and has several Groups and Best In Shows to his name. We are very proud of him and wish him and the Trainors the very best of everything in the future.
Sasha (Ch Goldmoores Gold Dreamer x Sh Ch Peasblossom Moonstruck) has gained her first CC in Sweden at the tender age of 13 months. Jude, her litter brother has been to his first show too where he won Junior :o)
Kitkat, (Ob Ch Peasblossom Eternity) has had her first attempt at dancing to music and did wonderfully well. We have a video and some photos to share but I must admit that the video reduced me to tears. Her little kennel mate, Tuppence (P Over The Moon), has also been doing well at a recent Rally Test where she scored a maximum 100 points for her test. Just incredible xxx
Kate and Rafferty puppies have now left for their new homes and all are doing well. We wish them all the love and luck in the world. Plans are being made now for more puppies here. Apologies for the wait .... patience is a virtue we have found :o) More soon on that score anyway .....
