May - June 2015

Thursday 4th June

Southern Counties this past weekend with Jonathan Daltrey judging Springers for the first time. Pepe won MPD but was alone :(, Raff was second in Open Dog. Tansy, alone too in PB won her class and was awarded BPIB. Later on she was third in the Gundog Puppy Group :o) under judge, John Walton Haddon. Great day for our puppy girl .. sadly the last time in Puppy for her but she certainly went out with a bang!! The weather was atrocious, pouring rain for most of the day, totally grim. We took the Serafina stand there and the first day was pretty much a wash-out thanks to the rain and wind but things picked up after that. Onwards and upwards now to the next show which is the NESSS Champ show with the dogs and then Border Union with Serafina and the dogs if we can squeeze them in :)

Wednesday 20th May

Some show news to share this week, although not ours :o) Last week was SKC where Barbara Ganarin's 'Orla', (P Orianna) turned out for her second show. It was a great day for her winning her class, Best Puppy Bitch and eventually Best Puppy In Breed. It turned into an extra special day when she also won the Puppy Group. Judges were Angela Chandler for the Breed and Mrs E Macdonald the Group. Sending many congratulations for a great day and here's hoping for many more to come xxx

Pixie (P Peace at Foordslane) has been to a couple of Open Shows too with owner, Jill Barsley and has been PBIB at both. Photo of her below :o) Tasha (P Nettle), not only gracing the Welcome page this week but also going BOB and CACS at Libourne in France. Kitkat (P Eternity) went to a Rallytest in Esbjerg, Denmark last weekend under judge,Trine Dyrgaard. She was entered in the champion class and had a wonderful run on a lovely course, finishing second with 97 points out of 100. All great results with some photos below of them all :o)

Thursday 14th May

A great day at Birmingham National last weekend :o) Judge was John Thirlwell (Ferndel). We took three dogs and were delighted when Rafferty won Open and the Dog CC, his fourth this year. Tansy won Puppy Bitch and eventually Best Puppy Bitch. Millie was unplaced in Open this time. Rafferty then challenged for BOB and was given the nod :o) In the Group he did us proud under judge, Tamas Jakkel and was awarded Group 2. What a day for Raff and us :o) So proud of him. Thank you for all your kind words and congrats :o)

Our next show with the dogs is Southern Counties and we are also planning to take the Serafina stand there. In between times, the stand will be at Wickford & Basildon and South of England Gundog. Busy times ahead ....
