Sooo long since our last updates and so much to say :o) Time for that soon but a quick note that there are puppies due. They will not be born here but with a dear friend. Please see details on the current litters page and get in touch with Edwina or us if you need any further details.

So sorry for lack of updates. Guess you could say that I'm a bit bored with this site. We have been let down on the new site so will have to come up with something myself, which could take a while....

Anyway, first thing to say is that we have a puppy bitch available. She is black and white, and is now four months old. Please feel free to contact us if you might be interested.

As for show news, we have been doing just fine. At the Welsh Club Show we only took the two puppies. Rocco at his first Champ Show went BPIS under judge, Kath Holt. His sister, Skye was placed second in her class. At the next show, Bath, Rocco again finished BPIB and was shortlisted in the Puppy Group. Sister Skye won Minor Puppy Bitch, Rafferty was Best Veteran in Breed, and Gaia and Aoife were placed first and second in Junior Bitch. Gaia then went on to be awarded the RBCC, her first. Judge that day was Gareth Lawler.

Three Counties turned out to be a really great day under judge, Joanna Jaggers. Our evergreen Rafferty was awarded the Dog CC, his 21st and Best of Breed. His daughter, Aoife won Junior Bitch and the Bitch CC, her first. Gaia was awarded the RBCC and Rocco, Best Puppy In Breed. He was again shortlisted in the Puppy Group. What an amazing day. They don't come around too often and when they do, they are extra special.

I had the honour of judging at Windsor Championship on an incredibly hot day. I had a super entry and was happy to award DCC and BOB to a lovely black and white male, Meadowdale Storm Trooper. BCC was the beautiful bitch, Beresford Night Class. BP was a gorgeous baby, Melverly Lil Dancer. Really enjoyed the day despite the heat and appreciated every entry.

Finally our last show to speak about was Leeds, under Patsy Hollings. Rocco was our star for the day, with Best Puppy In Breed and going on to win Puppy Group 2 under judge Mr Albert Wight. A lovely day....

More soon ....

More news! Of course Crufts has been and gone already. We had a lovely day spent with friends and fellow exhibitors. It was really great to see so many overseas visitors too and we thank Vin McPhee and Maureen Gostelow for helping with our dogs on the day. Our dogs achieved some lovely placings under judge, Kate Keely with Rafferty placed third in Veteran Dog, Ted (P Valentino) winning Junior Dog, Gaia also winning Junior Bitch, Lara second in Yearling Bitch and Tansy, 3rd in Post Grad Bitch. Very funny critique from the judge, writing that Tansy would have been placed higher but for her 'Diblyesque proportions' :o) Sad but true!!

Anyway, since Crufts there have been no more shows and we now have a new litter of puppies so that puts paid to any serious travelling for a while. Lois has taken to motherhood like a duck to water, producing no less than eleven babies. We have, as expected, both black and whites, and liver and whites in the litter, five girls and six boys. All have been doing very well and most have doubled their birth weights in a week. More information on the Current Litters page :o)

26th February 2019

A super day at the Southern ESS Champ Show under judge, Catriona Brough at the weekend. Rafferty was again awarded the CC, his 20th! and finally BEST IN SHOW. So delighted. He is such a special dog always wanting to please. Our girls did us proud too, all well placed in big classes. Lara was awarded Runner Up Best Puppy of the Year - the Jean Taylor Awards. All in all a lovely day spent with friends and the sun shone all day.

A last bit of news that Lois is indeed expecting puppies towards the end of March. More to follow on that shortly.....

Well how about this? Suddenly our website has started to oblige with some changes. I am still waiting for our new site to be completed. There is nothing like having the joy sucked out of it, but hopefully, once it is finished, it will be a case of onwards and upwards.

So hopefully we have puppies due at the end of March. More details on that to follow shortly but it is always exciting no matter what.

We have had the best start to our showing year imaginable, with Peasblossoms winning both CC's at the first show of the year, Manchester, under judge, Beverly Nicolson. Rafferty won his 19th CC and BOB and also went on to take BEST IN SHOW at the Lancs & Cheshire Open Show which followed straight after. The Bitch CC, her first, went to Lola, Peasblossom Rumour at Strathnaver. We send our warmest congratuations. So happy and proud :o)

We have also attended Kent Superdog where we had qualified three youngsters. Still seasons and lack of coat meant that we took only Gaia (Peasblossom Whisper) who thrilled us when she won all the way through to Top Puppy overall, under judge, Sue Searle. It was a lovely evening spent with the best of friends. Photo below....
