Thursday 31st December
New photos have been added to the Sammy x Izzie puppy gallery today - all taken at six weeks. Felix appears to be the star of the show really, however they are all doing really well.
A new page has also been added for 'Elin' our new girl, Peasblossom Embrace. Click here to view.
Finally some more good news from Scotland that Toash, Gaolachcara Oghma has been doing well, in fact so well that he was awarded Best In Show last weekend at Livingstone Canine Society Open Show. Congratulations from us both - thrilled to hear that your super year ended on such a high note!
Monday 28th December
Well Christmas has been and gone for another year. The persistent wet weather was replaced briefly by snow and icy conditions which along with Operation Stack in our neck of the woods caused untold travel problems and alot of bad language on our part! Unfortunately this is only the start of winter so we have many more months of cold weather ahead of us. It probably causes a great deal of mirth to hear us complain about one or two centimetres of snow that lasts only a day or so when others live with metres of snow for months on end. Well... the fact is, we just can't cope and that is all there is to it!
We would like to wish lots of luck to our friends and fellow exhibitors the world over for the forthcoming year. 2009 has been quite a good year for us and we look forward to the next twelve months with renewed enthusiasm. We hope to have one or two youngsters to introduce to the world in 2010 as well as continuing to campaign Seamus, Kye, Lila and Holly so we will have to wait and see what is in store for us. Aside from that, we are hoping for a huge Lottery win of course, although if rumours are to be believed, Seamus' stud fees come pretty close.......!
PS. Am typing this from our yacht in the Caribbean.....!
PPS. New pages finally added for Robin (P Escape), Sadie (P Dream) and Dixie (P Daybreak). Go to 'Dogs Bred By Us' in the main menu.
PPPS. Puppies all doing well. We have new photos which will be added in the next few days.
Friday 18th December
New photos added to gallery in main menu of Kitkat (P Eternity) in the snow and one of Oscar (P Echo) in his new home surrounded by toys.
Also new photos and a video clip added of the Izzie x Sammy pups taken at four weeks. They continue to do really well and are eating and playing like 'real' dogs now.
Saturday 12th December
Some great news from LKA today. We didn't go, but Peasblossom Daybreak (Dixie) flew the flag for us, winning her Puppy Bitch class. Well done! Also, Kaila, Seamus' daughter, Gaolachcara Cliodna won the Junior Bitch class, securing the last points needed for her Junior Warrant. Congratulations from us - we are thrilled for you. Completely well-deserved and may it be the first of many highlights for you both!!
Thursday 10th December
New photo added today of Emmett (now Murphy!) in his new home - see Photo Gallery in main menu. Also a new video clip has been added of the Izzie x Sammy pups taken yesterday at three weeks old. See the Current Litters page for the link.
Monday 7th December
New photos of the Izzie x Sammy pups added to their gallery today. They will be three weeks old on Wednesday and are all doing well. Some new photos also added to the Photo Gallery (in main menu) of some of the Lila pups and their new families.
No more show news for ages now .... the weather here continues to be unbearably disgusting. It has rained for 40 days and 40 nights at least!! :(
Monday 30th November
Some lovely news today (nothing to do with our dogs...!) that at the Lilleström and Norwegian Winner Show on Saturday, Zeneck (Linmoor Zimply Zalient) was awarded Best Dog, BOB and Group 4! Second best dog was Sammy, Goldmoore's Gold Dreamer!! Their 'English' children are very proud! Zeneck will be spending the next few months in Sweden but has gained his Norwegian title at his very first attempt. Congratulations!
Sunday 29th November
Quite a long time without any news... but this weekend, the Lila puppies have left for their new homes. We send them our love and best wishes for wonderful lives with their families. 'Kitkat' (Elsa, P Eternity) has made the longest trip all the way to Denmark where it is hoped she will be trained in obedience. Yes we laughed about that too...! 'Robin', (Emil, P Escape) has moved to Yorkshire and to Kennel Beresford with Trudy, David and Rattan of course. 'Oscar' (Echo, P Echo) is now with his family in Surrey, 'Monty' (Elijah, P Ember) in Middlesex and lastly 'Murphy' (Emmett, P Eclipse) has gone to Lincolnshire. Good luck to you all.
Izzie's puppies are now 11 days old and we have finally added a gallery for their photographs. You can find this via the Current Litters page. The puppies are, however, doing very well indeed. With only four puppies to share the milk, they are looking extremely plumptious! Izzie has been an exceptionally good and calm mother and everything has been peaceful and problem-free. Still it is early days....!
A super bit of show news to share that Mattie, Peasblossom Caress has attended the Amsterdam Winners Show today with her owners Helma and Rudo. She finished up Best Bitch and BOS and now has the impressive title of Peasblossom Caress JW.08 Njk.09. W.09. Now we just have to wait for her to be 27 months old when she can gain her title in the Netherlands. Many congratulations from us all.
Saturday 21st November
Izzie's puppies have been born and we welcome to the world, two boys and two girls, Felix, Forrest, Florence and Fifi. Both Izzie and her babies are doing well. More pics to follow soon - for now, the Welcome page ones will have to suffice!
Congratulations too, to Elena and all at Kennel De Los Tres Robles, on the birth of Kye's first litter. Sue, their mother and the four puppies are all doing great already.
Monday 16th November
Dave took the long drive up to Edinburgh on Friday for Gundog Breeds of Scotland Championship show under judge, Jock Mackay. It was a hideous journey with the worst kind of weather and took forever. However, the show wasn't a bad one for us, with Kye winning his Yearling Dog class again and Seamus finishing third in Open. Post Graduate Bitch was won by Rattan and second to her was Holly. Little Sadie, Peasblossom Dream for Amandian finished 4th and 2nd in Minor Puppy Bitch and Puppy Bitch respectively.
Some good news too that yesterday, Kaila, (Gaolachcara Cliodna) - Seamus' daughter - took yet another Best In Show, this time at the Ladies Kennel Association Of Scotland. Congratulations once again from all of us.
Finally we have added some photos of the puppies taken at six weeks. Click here to view. Not the best 'stands' in the world, but it's a start!
Monday 9th November
No show news whatsoever but looking forward to the long journey to Scotland at the weekend (?) We have been spending our time entertaining the puppies and meeting the prospective owners. The puppies will have some lovely homes to go to in a few weeks time. Five new photos and a video clip have been added to the puppy gallery on the Current Litters page. They are now very much 'real dogs' and play (and fight!) but still sleep alot!
Monday 2nd November
Yesterday was the Midland ESS Championship Show and a dismal day all round really with Ninja unplaced in Limit Bitch and Kye, 3rd in Yearling Dog. A good one for Toash and Kaila (Gaolachcara Oghma and Cliodna) though both winning two classes apiece. Well done!
New pic of Ninja added to our Welcome page today as well as two photos of the puppies added to the Current Litters page. Hopefully, we will get round to taking some better shots in the coming week or two.
